Here's a print created by one of the students attending the Etching & Woodcut course I taught at Inverlochy's Summer Art School. A dry point etching on perspex is inked with Akua Intaglio Van Dyke brown ink and then printed onto damp paper. A second layer/ colours is then printed on top of the etching print. Acetate stencils are rolled in relief with Akua crimson red and ultramarine colours. The final image illustrates the best qualities of intaglio and relief processes combined to create a sophisticated and multi coloured print. Well done!
